Scheduler

Schedule a whole season in an evening, not a month

League Centre's scheduler turns your divisions, fields and dates into a fair, conflict-free schedule, then publishes it straight to your live league schedule.

How the Indoor Scheduler works

Four steps from blank page to published season

Every step saves as you go, so you can leave a draft and pick it up later exactly where you left off.

  1. 1

    Divisions

Name the schedule, set the season start date, then pick your divisions and how many games each one plays.

    • Games per division
    • Season start
  2. 2

    Day & fields

Choose the league night and add the field windows you have, either weekly or on a specific date.

    • Weekly windows
    • One-off dates
  3. 3

    Blackout dates

Block out holidays and closures. The scheduler skips them automatically and rolls games to the next available week.

    • Holidays
    • Facility closures
  4. 4

    Generate & publish

Generate a draft, review and tweak it game by game, then publish the whole schedule to your league in one step.

    • Inline editing
    • One-step publish
Fair by design

Every team gets a fair schedule

The engine builds a true round robin, then spreads teams across your field and time slots so nobody gets stuck with the late game every week.

  • Round-robin fixtures, with byes handled for odd team counts
  • Balanced home and away, with a mirrored second cycle
  • A fair share of field and kickoff slots for every team
  • Each division's kickoff interval respected, and games roll to the next week rather than double-booking a slot
Conflict detection

Double-bookings caught before anyone shows up

League Centre checks every draft game for overlapping bookings, not just identical start times, and the Publish button stays locked until every conflict is resolved.

  • Venue and team double-bookings highlighted in red
  • Edit any game inline: date, time, home, away or venue
  • Regenerate the draft as many times as you like
  • A heads-up when a season runs past 20 weeks
Saved schedule runs

One league night or five, all in one place

Run separate schedules for Monday, Wednesday and weekend leagues side by side. Every run is saved as a draft until you publish it, and published runs stay as a read-only record of what went live.

  • Each division belongs to one active run, so divisions are never scheduled twice
  • Publishing copies every game to the live schedule in one go
  • Delete a run to free its divisions for a new schedule
Outdoor schedule generation

Outdoor leagues are covered too

A dedicated outdoor engine schedules full-field and small-sided games around each team's home field, game day and kickoff time.

Home fields

Set each team's home field, game day and kickoff time, then export the list to Excel.

Dates & blackouts

Pick a season start date and block out the weekends you won't play.

Games per division

Choose anywhere from 4 to 24 games for each division, with team counts shown alongside.

Clash finder

Clashes are detected and auto-corrected where possible. Filter to only clashed games and check the colour-coded overview.

After the schedule is live

Keep the schedule right all season long

Schedules change. League Centre's game tools protect your fields every time they do.

Bulk edit, safely

Change dates, kickoffs and fields for many games at once. A change that would double-book a field is blocked, and the clashing game is shown, even when it belongs to another league.

Import from CSV

Bring in schedules from a CSV file. Row-by-row errors are reported, and any game that would double-book a field is set aside for review before you publish.

Games to reschedule

Postponed games land on their own list showing how many days overdue each one is, so nothing slips through the cracks.
